In a Moment #1LinerWeds

In a moment it could all change,

a life and its contents rearranged.

In the blink of an eye

without knowing why

reality shifts,

the rifts

in time grow wide

we slip inside,

swallowed up

to rise

with eyes

wide shut…

again

and

again.

When will we learn?

Living perfection, courtesy of the Creator. Show some respect before it disappears again.

I have been so discouraged that the majority of people I meet and speak to daily care nothing about what the future holds-for our planet, our country, or our mental and emotional well-being. It would seem people are most comfortable complacently assuming things will somehow just work themselves out. And I meet so few ready to fight for a better way, not even willing to speak out for it. I long to live on an island, not be an island surrounded by a sea of heartless humans…

(The Enya is for you, Debbie.  We shared everything. Still miss you so much.)

  1. It’s always sad when we think about absent friends. You’ve managed to package those thoughts and emotions in beautiful words and pictures. I think your friend would smile.
