The Sin

DD6A877A-B289-4029-9605-A913622B0AB6

To disappear within the velvet

shadows, exploring perfection’s

treasure,

to

breathe in the scent of desire,

sweet and heady, comes the fire-

soul dies

heart cries

tears of ecstasy and sorrow

for the glare of tomorrow

creeps over the horizon

to

steal away the sultry, steamy

hallows where longing lingers,

cruel fingers

draw back the curtain

to reveal

the awful sin

alas!
No one watches, nor hears

as satisfaction disappears

 before shame,

waiting in vain for judgement.
Alas!
No one cares.

To disappear again….

Oblivious #photography

Oblivious

not aware or concerned about what is happening around one..

unaware, unconscious, heedless, unmindful, insensible, unheeding, ignorant, unsuspecting, unobservant, unconcerned, impervious, unaffected, insensitive, indifferent, detached, incognizant

To sink into desire’s delight

with wild abandon, not to fight

heart’s impetuous impulse.

Sweet, the taste of freedom,

soft the warmth of embrace,

unsuspecting of the moment

when you leave without a trace.

What cares for convention in

the brilliant light of promise-

to live, to drink, to breathe

this ecstasy…

obliviously!

Time and Again/#1LinerWednesday

CBAA64C2-4CCC-45D7-86D0-D68FE28FEAEC

Adrift on a sea of velvet dreams-

soft, pink memories that fade

in the harsh light of reality.

I wander through the hallows

of the forgotten, where moments

sharp as cut diamonds tempt my

hopeful heart, whisper my name-

beckoning, taunting, haunting,

cruel, heartless passion!

Tis a lonely journey,

wheel of life an endless round,

seeking love that won’t be found,

that cannot hear

the beat of a tender heart.

Over and around, up

and down. In and out

and round about.

So, even if there be no end

what can be lost if thus a friend

is made along the way?

What more to say?

Better, then, to have a friend

and not impassioned story end,

than wrapped in deep desire

to sink writhing in its mire

without friendship’s  warm

embrace to fan the fire.

Can you see me?

Can you feel me

like a whisper,

as a prayer,

a breath,

regret?

Kiss me Quick!

Kiss me quick!

I’m feeling sick.

Waves of desire                                  burn like fire!

Singe my soul

and

make me whole.

Kiss me quick!

Twinkle, twinkle

little star

how bright and

beautiful you are

against your universe

of green,

a whisper, soft and oft

unseen.

Touch of gold,

evening treasure,

wealth beyond

the greatest measure,

gift within the gift

so sweet!

The bee and me,

serendipity,

to share this

sweet

inheritance.

Tickle me pink

as perched on the brink

of certain magnificence

and feigning innocence

before the morrow’s tender bloom

a blushing bride awaits her groom.

He shall not come!

The footmen gather at the door

hungry, lusting, wanting more

and enter when, no longer, shy

she spreads herself beneath the sky,

sweet honey then in dewy wet

will, on their tongues without regret,

intoxicate, inebriate, satiate,

blissfully exonerate

their wickedness.

Autumn Fire/Winter’s Desire #1LinerWeds

IMG-1245

Stealing itself against the sharp edge of Winter,

waiting in silent anticipation of day’s end

IMG-1248

Sun’s last cry of surrender to night strikes

her cold, hard body, as flint to steel..

IMG-1247

Igniting a spark, flicker of brilliance

setting Autumn’s fine petticoats on fire!

Watch her sway and burn with bright desire

to be caressed by his glow, kissed by his hot breath

as bitter darkness follows close behind.

IMG-1259

But in that briefest of moments she blazes with glory,

they dance in fiery passion, embracing end of day

when azure skies and butterflies have gone away.

Promises are whispered in the shadow of delight

that while she sleeps he will keep the firelight

aglow.

She knows

his word is true.

“See you in the Spring, my lovely,” he whispers as he slips the petticoats from her

body and kisses her to sleep.

Do not weep.

She will return, together they will burn again in Spring.

Love the Ink Spots…

Pure delight-

veil of oblivion

obscures the world

of curious eyes,

no more you and me,

we blend as one in

ecstatic golden euphoria

that numbs the senses

shatters my defenses,

soul laid bare and

barely aware of time,

our enemy and friend

and thus we pretend

we are are its master

as it marches ever faster,

stealing the future,

clouding the past,

as evening casts

long shadows

where we lay

spent,

content,

he ticks his tock,

this bitter clock

called a life,

within its well

hope springs

eternal!

What Matters…

What we hold in the palm of our hands,

delicate gift, the heart understands.

What we possess but forget

in the wake of regret

withers in shadow

of doubt.

Fragrant remains of desire,

kindling for funeral pyre,

The bits that you clutch,

have so numbed your touch,

while faint memory lingers

I slip through your fingers

as dust in the wind

and no way to mend

the bridge that once

called you a friend.

Forgotten.

I gave you all that pain allowed,

wiped every tear and thusly vowed

to keep my tender heart confined,

the unseen chains that I designed

were all that would embrace me,

enfold, protect, encase me.

And yet, somewhere within this cell

there lies the deepest, hopeful well

of adoration, inclination,

burning, churning, yearning-

that you find me and remind me

how it feels to feel again.
