unfortunately the ‘gardener’ trims but doesn’t clean up, so I raked the yard. There is a gate in the fence that leads to the cabanas below.
The Sertracen in David, our version of the DMV. Have you ever seen a less crowded one? It still takes a ridiculously long time to get things done at times, ut at least it’s quiet!
This has been a week of outings after being sick for nearly three weeks. One of those was a trip to one of our favorite Boquete restaurants, Butcher Chophouse. Besides their amazing steaks, they have one helluva burger that is beyond great! Not sure what these fellows were trying to see, but there is a door behind them. 🙂

This is what I call ‘the Beast’! And soooo good.

We took a drive up to Jaramillo to El Parador, hotel and Cafe where the coffee is amazing and the views no less than stunning. I always pay the $1 to walk the garden grounds.

The interior of the Cafe-with doors

I’m calling that a door-One that leads to making a new tree friend!

I never met a tree I didn’t like!

And when you find a mango as grand as this you just have to make Mango Tarts!

In the Ninja digital Air Oven which is so great! ! This machine preheats in one minute!
I guess I should go before it’s too late
And my photos upon your nerves do grate!
Today’s post is a two-fer in honor of Linda Hill’s SoCS prompt and Dan Antion’s Thursday Doors event

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Cheryl. That hamburger is ridiculously large and looks tasty, but I am salivating over the fries that look crispy and salty. Yum! You live in such a beautiful area and it’s nice to see you enjoying it.

Excellent doors< Cheryl. I am so hungry for a burger right now. Fortunately, I don’t care for mango.

I’m almost always ready for a good burger, Dan. As for mango, it isn’t for everyone, but often it is because they haven’t had a fully ripe sweet fruit. If the juice isn’t running down your arm and dripping from your elbow it isn’t ripe. 😉

For me it’s the texture.

Not to beat a dead horse, Dan, but you should try the small yellow variety. There is no stringiness and is more like a peach texture.
