I’m afraid today’s post will be brief. Here’s a poem about out day. For day 12 of Linda Hill’s #JusJoJan24 writing event. I’m quite proud of me so far. For any of you who have visited and left me a note, thank you so much! And thanks Barbara for the prompt word today!
We shopped. We dropped.
I cooked, then took
a bit to a neighbor.
It’s raining, it’s pouring
my old man is snoring.
I want to write
and think I might,
but I hate to boast,
for I think I’m toast!

I LOVE this poem! Short, sweet, and to the point! Now get some rest, my friend!

Well, it’s only 10°, but I’ve spent the day wrapped in a nice warm blanket, reading ‘n snoozing, so I can’t complain! And … at least it isn’t below zero like it is in many parts of the country!
