What a Ride! Endgame Experience!

I must state simply that The Avengers series has gotten exponentially more exciting with every piece of the puzzle over the years, causing expectation levels to rise with each new installment. I was a bit nervous when the advertisements for #Endgame started to show up.

I have been exposed to this genre of film since my four sons were youngsters and none of us has stopped loving the various superheroes that really do exist in the imagiverse of sci-fi comic existence.

I have my favorites, of coures, being a closet Thor groupie. He is not dissimilar to HeMan, a favorite of my oldest. That child used to watch his Saturday lineup of cartoons, having to don full attire for each one, complete with his version of Bruce Banner clothes and Hulk’s torn transformation outfit. Of course, back in those days we were watching reruns of Lou Ferrigno and Bill Bixby’s Hulk, my personal favorite. 😉 Love you too, #Mark Ruffalo and Ed Norton, Jr.

So, if you have time, you must catch up on Spiderman-all of them-, The Incredible Hulk, Ironman, Antman-1&2-, Thor, Black Panther, all of The Avengers, Captain America, Captain Marvel….oh, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Got it? 🙈

I regularly tug out my copy of Guardians of the Galaxy when I want to feel hope for this troubled world. A good soundtrack while saving humanity is definitely a must for me.

ummmm….there is no secret about what a #Chris Pratt fan I am. Love the Pratt man. This might be my favorite role of his though.

So, unless you know the basic storylines for the main characters in Endgame, you might be lost and not enjoy the film as much as you could. However, if you like humor, action, great special effects, excitement and heartwarming moments, your expectations will surely be met in this movie. It was a thrill ride for me! Big thanks to all the cast, creators-R.I.P Stan Lee-and supporting crew that brought this Disney production to life for us- the rabid fans of #The Avengers.

Experience the wonder, the thrill, the pure genius that is Marvel’s Avengers Endgame. Even just so you can say you did.

Doors and More!

Doors….

When we went in search of breakfast on our recent trip to Chattanooga, we thought we hit the jackpot at Puckett’s, a local bar and grill venue with a lot of history and a tasty breakfast. Conveninetly located within an easy walking distance of our hotel and just across from the Tennessee Aquarium, it seemed the perfect stop on our way to see what the Aquarium had to offer.

The main doors were oddly unremarkable, although nice. The restaurant name is plainly visible on the huge awning that spans the length of the buiding but there was no sign on the door or near the door. The only indication we made it to the right place was a printed door mat as you step inside the front doors.

But look at that breakfast! Simple but yummy. And the biscuit tasted even better than it looks. I loved the mug so much we had to snag one for home. Of course we paid for it, silly. 🙄

I only wished we had more time to return for an evening  meal when there was live music, but maybe next visit. The inside is appealing, open and warm-a lot like Cheers!

It wasn’t until I needed to visit the ladies’ room before we headed to the Aquarium that I found them! All in the ladies’ room. 🙊🙈

From the main door…

to the stall doors, which were so cool…

I was tickled to find such a treasure trove of doors.  Then in the hall was a cache of train memorabilia that was the icing on the cake.

This time train memorabilia, next time  real train experience!

This post is brought to you as part of our host Norm Frampton’s weekly doorscursion event, where participants post about doors they have seen, photographed, sketched…any doors. You can make a beeline over to his blog and get the schedule and itinerary for this event.

PS..tomorrow is Fridaaaay!!!

Here We Go/#SoCS/#Free48

And it started with a crack, not a gunshot. What, you may ask? Well, the race to have a relaxing, productive, fun, peaceful, exciting, safe, drama-free yet noteworthy mini vacation. Easy peasy, right? 😳 And we were off to a great start until Alabama decided to step up and say, “Hey, you know what day it is?”

3 great years and whack! Of course it must be filled soon or it will spread like a taunting grin and shouting, “Friday the 13th is reeeal” If I didn’t know better I’d think Nick Satan (I mean Saban) threw it himself. 🙊

But, we had a great trip otherwise and saw a cool new set of bridges, some great cloud antics, a nice sunset and sunrise. More on our food adventures later but mine was good last night, once we found the right restaurant.

We are excited about visiting with family and friends. Hope your #Free48 has no cracks, holes, breaks, tears or rot.

Beautiful/#Free48-So Far/#SoCs

So far, so peaceful. After a long, busy work week I am very happy to welcome this #Free48. And so far it looks promising. First, there was no alarm, and now I am enjoying a nice cup of coffee with ‘The Doctor’, the sun is out and hubby did most of the tough cleaning for us during the week. Toss a bit of exploration and some creative time in there and I couldn’t ask for more.

Well….maybe a visit from our little buddy. I found the shots from her near stowaway excursion with us. 😀

Okay, get your ‘awwwws’ ready.

After having my head down fiddling with coat, gloves, purse, etc, I looked up and nearly screamed until I realized who it was. Let me tell you, guys, she owns her special-ness.
