Well here we are with another edition of Lindaโs #JusJoJan24 . Todayโs word was provided by Dar. You should visit both of these fine blogs if you havenโt already!
Have any of you out there ever owned one of these?

Ahhhhโฆ yes, the ever present accessory of the late 70โs and the all knowing indicator of your mood.
I had several during my late high school years and took its expertise to heart, gauging how happy or sad I might be, or how โaffectedโ by a love interest. These lovely kaleidoscope jewelry treasures were around quite awhile before fading into the background, usurped by Pandora wonders and diamond studded tennis bracelets. I was more than thrilled when they made a comeback, sometime in the early 2000โs. They even had a band version, which was lovely to wear but seemed lacking in capability. But, then came the inevitable rhetoric and need to scientifically explain away the magic and mystery of my wonder ring. Of really everything, and the trend is only getting worse. Temperature in the room, body temperatures and other reasonable explanations took the place of the mystical truths I had clung to in my adolescent years.
Stillโฆ I think Iโd like to wear one again. After all, we canโt really count on the weatherman anymore, can we?
Hereโs a bit of something to brighten a mood!

Happy Monday all!

Yay! I wrote about mood rings, too. I have a couple of the more recent ones, but not the oval one. They were so much fun back then. Yes, we did believe it was showing what mood we were having at the time. ๐

I’m pretty sure there’s an app for that now, Cheryl. You probably have to connect it to a smart watch but it will tell you that you’re apprehensive because your phone bill has just arrived.
