Hello again, Thursday! Itโs good to make it to another week isnโt it? I am taking a cue from our wonderful doors host Dan Antion of No Facilities and submitting a few rather random doors. I say random, but in truth they represent the organized chaos that defines our lives. While there is no tried and true daily play out of our existence these days, the unfolding of our world works for the adventurous spirits we have.
Here are just a few of the doors that open for us and make life a little sweeter.
Random door that I canโt recall its location in town. But I love the wood carving.

This auto bano is the best in town! Three guys do up our little go kart in style. And I always think what a glorious place to spend a working day.

One of the few good sushi places in David. And most all restaurants offer delivery. Nacions has such a diverse menu, including Thai and Chinese food options, and everything weโve had is wonderful.

This new little Mexican restaurant, Rosa Calavera, has the best margaritas!
The Coffee Hub

This cute little coffee house in town serves up a variety of local farmsโ offerings and nice breakfast choices too! We sat upstairs where they have a cool display of coffee history. We were right next to this little portal that looks down on the street. The feria is in the background.
One of the many doors to sports bars in downtown Lincoln, NE. Go Big Red! Cuzโฆ thatโs what their general greeting is during football season, bleak or not. ๐

This door leads to much peace and tranquility. My favorite.
Representing for one of the local schools. The band does a lot to raise funds for school trips and they participate in most celebratory events.
The next door is one that fills me with mixed emotions.
It is bittersweet to return to our paradise and leave this little dude behind. It is difficult saying goodby to all the kids and grands, but since we stay here during our visits, he is the one always waving goodbye. We love you all!
Please take a moment to visit Danโs post at the link above and check out so many other great doors.
Love and Light, Cheryl

These are wonderful doors, Cheryl. I am jealous of the Mexican restaurant opening by you. We have had a Mexican restaurant under construction for over a year now. It was a restaurant before, so it really shouldn’t be taking so long. The delivery vehicle made me smile. See you tomorrow at the bar!

Thanks Dan! Iโm so excited about tomorrow! I have a real collection of decorated autos at this point. I should do a post for them one day. This little Mexican place is very welcoming, good service and drinks. But the food is a bit meh. There is another place where the food is amazing. The owner is from Mexico but worked in the US restaurant business for many years. No one really does plated Mexican food though, like chimis or enchiladas. Mostly tacos, flautas and tostadas. I hope you get yours soon! See you at the bar. ๐

That would be a fun post. I’m sure we’ll have a good time tomorrow. Skippy promises to be on his best behavior.
