Glimmer.

 

 

A childish delight!

Yet take a closer look,

like the magic in a book..

 

 

sparking the imagination

into throes of bright creation-

spinning!

 

Blinking!

 

Eyes tell mind to loose its grip,

mind abandons thought- I slip

into Wonderland.

 

Merely bubbles….

 

 

Whirling globes

of chemistry

dancing in the air….

for me! 

 

 

Captivating!

There inside,

oh let me in!

 

 

Magnificent,

enchanted realm

of yesterthen…

 

Let me dream,

let me send

foolish worry

to the wind…

 

 

Cradled in

your care,

light as air,

to be propelled,

and thus dispelled…..

poof!

 

 

And with a gentle breath

blown into oblivion..

 

 

Leaving

but a memory….

Bittersweet.
