Bits of Thanksgiving/Photography

We did have a beautiful, although not traditional Thanksgiving, in terms of most celebrations.  I wanted to share some of the best moments with you over the next few days/weeks.

This fellow had reason to be thankful.  We happened on him with his fresh catch.  Someone else happened by as well, but was not very welcome…..

Find your own catch Buzzard….I mean Buddy!

Osprey are some of the finest fisher birds of all, their talons able to lift and hold huge fish.  If you look at the photos, you will see that the bird actually shifted to get a better grip on its treasure.  The poor fish was still flapping its tail fin……circle of Life.

Have a wonderful week.  Protect what is yours, share when you are able, and be thankful for each gift, both received and given.

Love and Light,

Cheryl

  1. There was an osprey in Wisc. when I lived there. A National Geographic photog sent up a tent high in a tree to get osprey photos. I saw more of that tent that the bird itself. Love this post! ❤

    1. Thanks Lara. Wow. That tale makes me feel spoiled. They are everywhere here. I did a pist not long agp about the baby osprey that took its maiden flight landing in my roof. We hung out together for about an hour and I got dozens of photos. Even at that age they have very serious intent in those eyes. I have great respect for the birds of prey.
