Spring Is On the Wing!

Welcome dear Spring……..

Spring and nature 083.NEF

The early bloom blushes before your grace.

Spring and nature 020.NEF

sunshine glowing on each delicate face..

Spring and nature 059.NEF

They stretch and yawn, awaking

Spring and nature 054.NEF

like tiny gems of pure delight

Spring and nature 075.NEF

the opportunist….

Spring and nature 072.NEF

the industrious….

Spring and nature 065.NEF

A tidbit, nibble…

Spring and nature 091.NEF

a song to sing….

Spring and nature 096.NEF

A nest to tend, mouths to feed

Spring and nature 103.NEF

and thus the bird

Spring and nature 104.NEF

is on the wing!

Spring and nature 107.NEF

Welcome Dear Spring!!!

  1. Beautiful photos – stunning.
I love it when the snowdrops appear, straddling Winter and Spring. Where I am, they are just about to wither away for another year but those hardy little drops of hope hang on until the crocuses and daffodils begin to appear. It’s as though they wait to make sure Spring really has sprung.

    1. Yes I know what you mean Julia. And for the early gardens we are always holding our breaths lest Winter decides to do an encore performance. 😉 Thanks so much for dropping in. It is always good to see you here.

      1. Winter is still flexing its muscles here but is on its way out; I love the anticipation in the air as one season reluctantly hands control to the next. And I always enjoy seeing and reading your take on the world.

  2. Absolutely beautifully capturing spring. I’m envious…heading into autumn (drum roll and huge laugh) I’m trying to find one, literally one tree showing me jewelled tones that mean it will cool down soon. 😀
love the photos and the poem. Thank you.

    1. Hi Susan! Im really glad to see you. Autumn huh? We had some record lows here although it still does jot compare to what they are having up North. Still I am so happy to see buds and blooms and nature “waking up”. Thank you and I do hope you are doing well.
